Abstract
To compare the effects of rehabilitation estimated from self reported quality of life, 77 legally blind veterans were administered the NEI VFQ-25 in interview format at admission and discharge. Interval person ability measures and item difficulty measures were estimated from patient responses pre and post rehabilitation with the polytomous rating scale model of Masters and Wright.
