Abstract

A method of producing a full color representation of an NMR image from a monochrome storage oscilloscope is described. Variations in the proton density are displayed as changes in color hue by decoding the image data into three sets of intensity information which correspond to the three primary color separations of the image. These are displayed consecutively on the oscilloscope and recombined photographically on to color film.
