Abstract

CGCG is a benign tumor of the head and neck. The diagnosis is based on histopathologic examination of a sample of the lesion. We present a case of CGCG of the right hard palate. Our patient had an unusual presentation for CGCG based on (1) location of the tumor - the mandible is most common; (2) age - most patients are younger than 20 years; (3) gender - most are female; and (4) oral cancer risk factors - the patient was elderly and had a significant smoking and drinking history.
