N2 - Uveitic cataract surgery is associated with an increased risk of capsular rupture, vitreous loss, crystalline lens dislocation, cystoid macular, corneal edema, and intraocular lens-induced complications. An understanding of the anatomy, risks, surgical option, and-most importantly-intraoperative and preoperative management of the underlying uveitis can reduce the chance of complications and provide outcomes mutually satisfactory to patient and ophthalmologist alike.
