A patient with catamenial pneumothorax and pelvic endometriosis underwent pleuroscopic examination with the flexible bronchoscope. For the first time, using this technique, diaphragmatic defects were observed, and the passage of air through them from the peritoneum to the thoracic cavity was documented.
