Abstract

Presentation of Case A 48-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of the adult respiratory distress syndrome and left flank pain. She was well until eight months earlier, when she was admitted to another hospital because of chest pain that was accompanied by a severe headache, and a diagnosis of a myocardial infarct was made on the basis of serum enzyme changes.
