The ACS receives funding from AstraZeneca, Inc. to provide partial support for the National Lung Cancer Roundtable, of which Dr. Smith is the principal investigator (but receives no salary support), to promote initiatives focused on public and provider education, shared decision making, screening, tobacco treatment, and guideline-adherent diagnosis and therapy.
