Abstract
Normal human β2A globulin preparations blocked sensitization of nonallergic human skin with reagin, whereas neither β2M nor γ2 globulin did. Passive sensitization of guinea pig skin with rabbit antibody was blocked by human γ2 globulin but not by β2M globulin. The relation of reagin to the β2A class of immunoglobulin was discussed.
