Abstract

On the basis of a study of handedness in monozygotic (MZ) twins at least one of whom was schizophrenic, the authors hypothesized the existence of a subgroup of schizophrenic patients characterized by anomalous lateralization and a milder form of illness. To test this hypothesis we examined laterality in a group of schizophrenic patients.
