Abstract

This is a descriptive study about a visible problem among an invisible population: alcohol and drag use among resident horsecare workers. Fifty- nine resident horsecare workers were interviewed using the Addiction Severity Index (ASI). Each problem domain of the ASI is presented and discussed. Prevalence of alcohol and drug use and interventions with this invisible population are discussed.
