Abstract

This volume focuses on the major classes of drugs used in treating the affective disorders of both animals and man. Special emphasis is given to the tricyclic antidepressants, particularly their structure/ activity relationships and their mechanisms of action. The clinical features of monoamine-oxidase inhibitors and lithium are discussed in depth.
