Abstract

The localization behavior of acoustic pulses in random bubble water was studied using a self-consistent approach. The results show that after a signal is transmitted, waves within the localized regime contribute to the residual acoustic reverberation in the system for any random configuration of bubble clouds in water. Once localized, the field tends to oscillate in phase at any spatial points.
