Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) Getting a better view: 11C- and 18F-labeled derivatives of the α4β2-selective, acetylene-bearing analogue of A-84543 were prepared and examined for their use as diagnostic tools in the PET imaging of nicotinic receptors in baboons. These agents may find use in determining nicotinic receptor changes in certain neurological disorders.
