Abstract

A broadly reactive radioimmunoassay for detecting viruses of the simian virus 40 (SV40)-polyoma genus was developed using the purified capsid protein, VP1, from the baboon papovavirus SA12 and a hyperimmune rabbit serum against SDS-disrupted SV40.
