Abstract
The Issue Briefs below were originally posted on the Center for Biosecurity's website during the 2009 H1N1 influenza (swine flu) epidemic between June 11 and December 17, 2009. Earlier Briefs can be found in the June 2009 issue of the Journal. They were intended as quick briefings to policymakers on key issues of concern at the time. Because events have moved o.n., some of the material in the Issue Briefs may be outdated by the time the print issue of the Journal is released; however, the editors believe that on the whole the issues discussed have not gone away and that the information presented in the Briefs is still valuable.
