800-nm endobronchial OCT for imaging airway microstructures in vivo

Abstract

We developed a new endobronchial OCT system operating at 800 nm, providing an ultrahigh resolution (1.7 µm in tissue) for directly visualizing airway smooth muscle and other important microstructures in vivo.
