Abstract

33258 Hoechst enhances the photosensitivity of bromodeoxyuridine-(BUdR)-substituted cells. Reconstruction experiments demonstrate that this enhanced photosensitivity can be used to improve the selectivity of the BUdR-light method of isolating conditional lethal mammalian cell mutants.
